About Electric West
As Electric West passes its 20th year of serving the entire electrical community, thousands of professionals rely on it for solutions to ongoing challenges as well as for guidance on new imperatives. They need updates on code changes and standards, information on safety, and products and equipment for residential, industrial and commercial applications. But there is also greater emphasis than ever on energy efficiency and emerging solutions in solar, wind and other renewable resources. In the face of change, Electric West’s continuing mission is to supply professionals-contractors, electricians and plant personnel-with the knowledge and supply sources to work more efficiently, reduce costs and stay ahead of the competition.

2009 Conference Program
Agenda - Year after year, electrical contractors, consultants, engineers, plant managers, and other electrical professionals make it their business to stay on top of the latest industry developments by attending the Electric West Conference Program.
Curriculum - The editorial staff of EC&M magazine researches the most useful subjects and recruits the most knowledgeable authorities to make presentations. A good number of these sessions also provide CEU Credits and/or Professional Development Hours (PDHs).

Live Simply So That Others Can Simply Live is the topic for Begley’s lauded talk on eco-living in America. Begley will chronicle his 39 year eco-journey touching on his many personal efforts to take responsibility for the environment, including his first electric car and riding a bicycle to Hollywood events. Begley will share manageable changes attendees can make for a sustainable living environment, suggest products and services that work, and discuss challenges on Global climate change, pollution, and dependency on Mid East oil that can be overcome.
